JIANPING MENG
Deputy Dean of the Niagara Central Academy Art Branch, and Art Director of the HI ART Gallery in Toronto
In 1983 graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Shanghai Light Industry College.​

During the school, he studied with the famous watercolor artist Zhang Yinghong, the Imagist painter Chen Peirong and the sketch master Xie Ligang. Since 1985, due to work reasons, he has traveled to more than 30 countries and regions on five continents in the world to work on Western art creation, exhibition design and art education work!
​
After immigrating to Canada, he was mainly engaged in fine art creation and fine arts teaching in Toronto. He is now Deputy Dean of the Niagara Central Academy Art Branch, and Art Director of the HIART Gallery in Toronto.

At the beginning of 2014, he was interviewed by a Canadian television interview with a celebrity television program and aired four television interviews with celebrities. He was widely recognized and praised by the community.
​
On December 19th, 2014, the oil painting "Sunrise of Huangshan Mountain" was permanently collected by the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto, Canada, as a work in the Toronto Consul General VIP Reception Hall.
​
In April 2015, a personal work exchange was held in Toronto. OMINI TV in Canada did a live broadcast of news.

In 2015, the Canadian New Era TV Station "New Maple" column made a special interview with painters.
In November 2015, two works participated in the 5th "Joint Exhibition organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the China Shanghai International Arts Festival Center, the Shanghai No. 8 Bridge Cultural Industry Investment Co., Ltd., and the Shanghai Overseas Chinese Painting Artists Association." In 2016, he was awarded two awards by the Outstanding Chinese Award winners of the "New Maple" section of Canadian New Time TV. Received artistic achievement and best popularity award.
